Negative energy in the workplace is often the result of negative assumptions, and negative assumptions are often the result of broad, negative beliefs, such as: “All lawyers overcharge” or “Women are emotionally unsuitable for leadership.” Such beliefs, whether conscious or unconscious, create tension and internal conflict in the workplace, most of it unspoken, and therefore insidious.
The result is a workplace climate that is often erratic or strained or both. Leadership-Masters, through this innovative, high-level leadership theatre module, looks squarely at unconscious bias in the workplace, and the destructive consequences that are often the result.

THE PRESENTATION
The module is two hours in length, which includes a 30 minute debrief period. The debrief period can easily be extended to either 45 or 60 minutes, depending on agenda content and need.
The presentation is theatrical in nature, containing four brilliant scenes lifted from the reign of Elizabeth I. Each fifteen minute scene is followed by a five-minute work period, where executive students are given the opportunity to explore, through specific questions, the pockets of conscious and/or unconscious bias that exist in specific work groups or business units, or within the organization as a whole.
REQUIREMENTS
The presentation features four highly trained actor/facilitators who represent Elizabeth and her key councilors (Vice-Presidents). Therefore, a small playing space will be required, though not much larger than any normal corporate training space. Power Point capability is also required, as slides are utilized to drive understanding and to help support the learning.
All other support materials, such as workbooks, hand-outs, props, costumes and music, are provided by Leadership-Masters and are included in the base cost of the event, which is $19,500 USD for groups of 125 participants or less, in addition to travel and shipping costs (pricing subject to change).
